I have a feeling I would want to know that before we move forward down this path.
The same can also be said for a host of other issues. Will any of your candidates (and the candidates they have running against, and the candidates they want behind them) be able to get away with making big promises while being unable to deliver on them? Can the opposition campaign promise they can cut taxes, but are never going to take that promise and actually deliver on it? Will anyone else ever be able to promise not to raise taxes on anyone unless a supermajority of congress passes it?
It seems to me the only way that a president is going to get through this whole mess without being impeached is if the current president is impeached first. If Hillary Clinton does end up running for President in 2016 and she’s accused of doing something similar. And if she’s found guilty of something that could lead to prosecution on both the basis of obstruction of justice and bribery, she could very well be going to jail.
But the first step towards a President being impeached is the impeachment of the leader who is not already gone.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said the deployment of a Russian Black Sea fleet to the region and the deployment of its military exercises in eastern regions would further escalate the crisis in Ukraine.
“I can say very clearly today that it has started,” Putin said during a meeting with visiting U.S. Vice President Joe Biden.
“This is a clear sign of the aggressive intent of the Russian army to change the current socio-political situation in a specific country, namely the Republic of Crimea.”
Putin said Russia was not conducting military exercises but its forces were there to protect Russia.
“Today’s developments are a very serious and worrying signal, which confirms that we are on a war footing,” said Sergei Markov, the head of the Russian Security Council.

“Russia continues to fly military exercises over the Baltic region, including air and missile defense training,” Anders Fogh Rasmussen, a NATO military
