We had a fun game planned with a couple random strangers. Turns out they’re a couple of people who’ve started the campaign to remove a church in their town. We thought that was pretty cool – it was all they would have on hand at that point.
Unfortunately, their plans for the church have fallen apart with a group of protesters showing up to the church’s doorstep, and have gone so far as to lock their doors and start a fight against us to get in the building.
As a result, we now have to call in the police and escort them (and, if need be, the church’s pastors) out to deal with them. This is pretty much what happens when you have a religious freedom issue. That is, until a few people try and take advantage of religious liberty.
It’s not like we’ve been attacked in any way, shape, or form. We’ve been just walking past a few groups, and the occasional protest. For the most part, we haven’t had any real problems. However, the protests have gotten so bad that they’ve created some disruption for us. So we’ve had to call in the police, but that will put us at risk of having to evict them
