Singer of the summer, David Gray, will reprise his hit single ‘Let Me Go’ at South By Southwest Interactive, but this time he will be playing himself, and not some of his most famous characters.

In the song, he asks to be shot as the singer to be used as a zombie. The hit single is about David’s struggle with depression.

“I never had the best of times with my depression at all, but I had it all so bad, and at least I had the song to remind me, ‘I’m fine, I’m fine’,” Bowie said to the BBC.

“I wrote and recorded a song for myself. It’s not the version I sang as Bowie. If he’s playing what he was thinking as he was writing, it wasn’t me at all,” she added.

Bowie confirmed, “I’ll be playing myself in the concert, I really hope it goes well.”
