Chords in the root key of a particular guitar scale contain all the notes of that scale from the G major scale to the G major ninth chord which contains the chords G, A7, and Bb major. Every chord has 12 notes or tritones, and they are:

C C#/D D D#/F F G G#/Ab A A#/Bb

The C chord above, C7, contains the notes of the G minor scale, which in turn contains most of the notes from the V chord above, a minor triad.
