What did they wear in the 20s? – Flapper Dress Pattern Mccalls 89414

“Suit”, “Blazer”; no ties, no collars, and no pockets.

I’ve seen the 20s, but I don’t recall them being all that sexy, if you want to know the truth. I’m fairly certain the men wore tie and tie only. Some men wore jackets as well, because the jackets were “good for the job”.

I can’t tell you about the women and I can’t tell you what clothes they wore, because I’m not even sure what to assume.

If a man was wearing a dress to a party, I wouldn’t have thought much of it. Maybe he wore a skirt and I didn’t. But most of the dress was skirts. I remember dressing up as the heroine of some “vampire movie.” I dressed up as the blonde bombshell, with a sexy black suit, and she’d be dancing at parties. A lot of what I remember of what these women wore is vague, but for the most part they were pretty damn sexy. Just the bare minimum, really.

A lot of them were dressed up, but for the most part, most of the time they were just dressed like a lady. If the man was wearing anything he had a pocket protector. The best part of all was when they wore dresses.

What did they go on trips to?

“Pleasures,” “Houses”. “Houses” was a fancy term for hotels, which is what I did, for a while. I went from the East Coast to the West Coast, and back, twice.

When were you first introduced to the club scene?

I started making and selling mixtapes in 1981. My first single was called “Pledge.” I started selling some of my mixtapes on the street in Miami. There were guys buying the tapes in Miami, going into bars and selling them.

Some of my first mixtapes were called “Shady.” They were mixtapes I made specifically for the club scene to sell. They were called “Shady.”

They love to dance around and have fun. They would go from one place to another, looking for a place to go, a place to sleep. I mean, I would go anywhere a party would happen. My favorite place for all-night drinking was at a place called the “Club” on Central Boulevard. It was
