Your Turn…

What are some movies you have been thinking about watching this year? What are some that need a reboot? Let us know in the comments…

I haven’t been able to go on this site for a long time, but I have been following your work here for years. I am very glad to have you back as my blog admin and on the blog team, and I love that we are starting with an interview. I also really enjoyed the article you did on the subject of “Pitfalls for Working with Windows XP”.

To be fair to all of us, it is a bit more than a work-around. It is the result of over a year of research into XP’s performance that resulted in a comprehensive document. It is a great resource to be able to refer to if one has not read the original article. A couple of months ago, I created a simple web page that explained Windows XP’s performance issues and the Windows Performance Toolkits. If you have not read it, I suggest you do. It will give you all the information you need.

You were very helpful in making the work I had done possible and I wish you well. It’s a big loss to have you leave the Windows team, and I understand that you will miss your team members. However, it is a step in the right direction. When you go, I am confident you will find other folks interested in sharing and learning from the experience that will last long after you have left, and I think you will also find more time for your other work.

I am excited to be back with you to answer any questions you might have. It is too bad I can’t work for you now. If you have any specific questions about the topic you would like to ask, you should contact me via the email below. As always, I am delighted to speak with my fellow editors of the Microsoft Support Blog and to share my expertise.
