How do I find the talent I need? What’s the best way to do it?
What’s your best advice to young directors?
How do I get my first movie?
“I started directing two months ago. I didn
love the freedom of directing and being with friends and family. It is one of the biggest things to embrace in making a film and you have to understand that you are starting from scratch. It’s hard and you don’t know who will be watching your film. It’s not easy – you have to get through the first few weeks and months, but it is worth the time you will spend on it.” This question was asked on a Facebook forum for actors looking to get their first film made.
“I am a student and trying to get my first film made. Having an agent and a company behind me is the only way I know how to get a deal that I am looking for. When I decided I was going to make my debut as an actress, I was a bit hesitant to give up and go it alone. But I can’t imagine making a film on my own and being a part of this industry. Having the support of other actors in a film and their passion is invaluable to my success. It’s been an absolute delight to shoot this film and it doesn’t get easier than this. Being a part of this industry is what I love most about it. You get to learn and grow and see first-hand how this industry works and I think that being a part of this world offers me a very unique opportunity.”
“I am also studying Cinema, Film Production and Screenwriting at Loyola New Orleans. I am also applying for a job with the school. I am also studying Film & Television at New York University School of Visual Arts. My main focus in life is to help others in any way I can. I also plan on taking some acting classes with a focus on the dramatic side of cinema and drama.”
“I’m a third year actor with a minor in Film, Theatre and Television Production at the University of Michigan University Park. I’m in my undergrad class studying creative writing, writing for film and is looking for internships.”
“My career has been great. I have gotten a chance to play a lot of different roles over the years that has allowed me the chance to learn and grow and become the person I want to be. I’ve worked on features and TV shows that have involved acting, some for big budget
